Welcome!!

Hi!  I’m so excited!!  This is my first blog post.  I’m going to post pictures, ideas, and just about anything having to do with sewing or crafts, so please come join me. 

I come from a sewing family.  My grandmother, mom, and all my sisters sew or have at one point.  My grandmother sewed almost all her clothing. My mom made all our wedding dresses, me and my sisters.  They were each beautiful in their own way and made with love!! 

Her passion though was quilting. This post is in memory of her.  She made many different size quilts, but mostly wall hanging ones.  In all of her quilts you can see her sense of humor, which would put a smile on ones face. :)

She made all her grandchildren a quilt until she wasn’t able to. This quilt was her go to third baby quilt. The center is the third baby with the two older siblings on the side. On the top and bottom, the parents and grandparents. The people are pretty accurate how they looked at the time. Sadly, the cigarette in the grandfathers mouth still hasn’t changed.
